Dr Strange marvel new Superhero Movie Teaser

Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr Strange marvel newest recruit in their super hero universe and man He is looking KICKASS!!!

For superhero enthusiasts, we are finally done with the long wait for Marvel’s Dr Strange teaser. The movie’s filming came to a conclusion just last week in New York City.

The trailer doesn’t tell much other than what we’ve known about the plot from the comic books. But one thing for sure is that we should be expecting a lot of “crazy sh**t” as quoted from the lead actor Benedict Cumberbatch.

It is safe to say that Dr Strange is an “awakening” of Cumberbatch as we see him transition from a surgeon to a sorcerer.

Cumberbatch’s character Dr Stephen Strange gets a serious beating, which leaves him in tatters. Embarking on a healing journey, the surgeon meets The Ancient One (played by Tilda Swinton) who introduces him to a world of mystic arts. In the process, the doctor gains superhero powers.

Even though the trailer doesn’t tell much, we surely will be expecting a wild, mind-blowing movie. This is as promised by Benedict Cumberbatch during an interview.

The reason for the “little to tell” teaser is because Marvel is probably playing things tactically. That is, the world of Dr. Strange is utterly bizarre, and so its first glimpse of the movie is meant to hide some of the movie’s ostentatious twists.

Nevertheless, there are a few things to expect. For instance, the Dr. Strange movie is expected to blend in bits of Inception, The Matrix, and The Last Airbender. That’s something to wait for.

I’m particularly excited to see how Cumberbatch’s performance will be in this movie, especially after amazing performances in The Hobbit Sequels, The Imitation Game (2014), and Sherlock (2010).

The presence of the English actor in the trailer is ostensible and felt in every frame through a variety of settings.

The movie is directed by Scott Derrickson, and features A-list cast that includes the likes of Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Mads Mikkelsen, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

The trailer was preceded by its official poster, which gives us the best look yet at Cumberbatch’s supreme sorcery.
