If someone had visited New Mexico in the recent past, the first question usually posed would be something like, ever been to Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico? Such a question is hardly surprising considering the kind of breathtaking views offered by the various attractions at Carlsbad Caverns.
Carlsbad Caverns is often considered as one of the world’s most beautiful natural cave structural formation as it offers a number of natural formations right inside the cave, which is a sight to behold. As visitors starts to explore the cave, a number of mind blowing attractions such as the devil spring, whale’s mouth – a structure that resembles the shape of whale’s wide open mouth with protruding teeth and a cute Baby Hippo structure are waiting to welcome the onlookers. The next attraction is the Ice berg rock which is located at a height of 650 feet from the cave base.
The next attraction, frozen water fall, is a sight to behold with all the cascading collection of white molten rocks. King’s Palace is another major attraction of Carlsbad Caverns and is often considered as the most beautiful natural cave formations in United States. There is also the Queen’s chamber containing stone draping adorning the walls of the chambers, providing a royal look and feel to the chamber. When visitors come out of the King’s palace, they are led in to a massive room called the big room, which is considered as the largest underground chamber in United States, whose size is nearly six times the size of a football field. The sight of bats flying out of the caves in the evening is another sight seeing attraction of Carlsbad Caverns.
