Hafthór Júlíus Thor Björnsson, the strongman competitor who stared as Gregor Cleganien in the Games of Throne series has secured a place in the Guinness book of World record as the fastest man to carry two fridges over 20m. He contented for the title in the Guinness World Records Italian Show with the Worlds Strongest man 2014 competition winner Žydrūnas Savickas. In an attempt to be the fastest to carry two fridges over 20m, Thor Björnsson competed the distance in just 19.60 seconds. The fridges and the support structure weighed 450 kg (992 pounds)in total.
Savickas was the first one to attempt the challenge. He took a good start but lost his momentum near the 17m mark. Thor was next and he managed to carry the tremendous weight steadily all the way to the end.This was the first episode of Guinness World Records Italian Show where the two gigantic strongman competed to show their muscle power. We can hope for more action packed performances in the upcoming episodes of the Guinness World Records Italian Show.
