The carnivorous plant Victreebel :

The similarity between Victreebel and a pitcher plant is the first thing you notice when you know a little about exotic plants. The Victreebel’s poisonous powers has similarity with the pitcher plant too because the plant uses a slippery trap to eat some curious insects that fall inside it. And they are slowly digested.

The translucent Poliwag :

Poliwag is based on a kind of translucent frog that lives in the South and Central America. The most visible feature in the pokemon specie is the cute whirl in his belly, although not cute as Poliwag, in the frogs this whirl is a part of the intestine which is exposed because of its transparency.

Vileplume, the largest flower :

Vileplume have a Rafflesia Arnoldii in their head, which is also known as Monster Rafflesia because it is the largest flower in the world. This Pokemon from real life also has its poison, a substance that gives off a smell of rotting meat. Although disgusting this is the strategy used by the plant to be pollinated.
