Biggest Baddest Aircraft’s In The Sky : The Race of Aircraft’s

There are three major manufacturers of Air planes in the world. Air Bus, Boeing and Antonov are the market leaders of air craft manufacturing market. They compete vigorously to get ahead of each other in making the longest, biggest and most spacious air crafts. Although Antonov is known for cargo aircraft’s, it is often compared to Air bus and Boeing because of its size.

Antonov from Russia has introduced the heaviest and biggest aircraft “Antonov An-225 Mriya” Its length is 84 meters when measured from nose to tail and 88 meters when measured from wing tip to wing tip. Its top speed is 850 km/hour, which is quite impressive considering its grand size.

On the other hand Airbus A380-800 is the biggest passenger carrier in the market up till now. It is a double deck, wide body jet liner which is equipped with 4 engines. It is manufactured by European Union manufacturer Air Bus and has a length of 73 meters. Its wingspan is 80 meters. Its top speed is 1020 km/hour.

Third on the list is Boeing 747-8i which has been manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It was launched in 2005 with improved fuselage and improved efficiency. It is 76 meters long and have the wing span of 68 meters. Its top speed is 988 km/ hour.

It can be clearly seen from the above analysis that Antonov is ahead of both Airbus and Boeing in terms of length but it has the lowest top speed among the three. Antonov also has the biggest wingspan but it can’t be said that it is safe as a passenger carrier because it is used as cargo carrier.

Airbus is the top favorite airliner of the world and is biggest passenger carrier. It is used by various passenger carrier companies of the world including Lufthansa, Emirates and Qatar airways. For all we know, the race for aircraft’s will continue pitting these great manufacturers as none seems to outdo the other.[mashvideo]
